Wine Australia Act 2013
The Wine Australia Act aims to control the export of wine and grape products to Australia, promote the consumption and sale of wine and grape products, within Australia and internationally, and to enable Australia to meet obligations under prescribed wine-trading agreements. Of particular significance in this Act is Part VIA - Label integrity program, and Part VIB - Protection of geographical indications and other terms. The Wine Australia Corporation Act 1980 was superseded by the Australian Grape and Wine Authority Act 2013 and later by the Wine Australia Act 2013. Registered 21 February 2025.
