Unit Pricing Code

Competition and Consumer (Industry Codes — Unit Pricing) Regulations 2021 Supermarkets and online retailers must comply with the Unit Pricing Code if they sell certain food-based grocery items. This instrument requires large grocery retailers, those grocery retailers that operate online, and those grocery retailers that voluntarily display unit prices, to use unit pricing when selling grocery items to consumers.
