Section 240-242 New Zealand Crimes Act 1961
Section 240 of the New Zealand Crimes Act provides for a general prohibition against obtaining (amongst other things) pecuniary advantage or causing loss via deception. Notably, misrepresenting the nature of a food product so that a premium can be charged (E.g. making a 'free range' claim where this is not the case.
