Proposal P1054 - Pure and highly concentrated caffeine products (Final Consideration Report)

Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) has approved a draft food regulatory measure after considering an urgent proposal to prohibit the retail sale of pure and highly concentrated caffeine food products. On 30 October 2019, FSANZ prepared and sought submissions on a draft variation and published an associated initial consideration report. FSANZ received 24 submissions. FSANZ approved the variation on 12 December 2019.
