New Zealand Food Act 1981 Repealed, on 1 March 2016, by section 420(2) of the Food Act 2014 (2014 No 32). This is the previous operative version of the New Zealand Food Act. In 2014, the NZ Food Act 2014 was passed and came into force on 1 March 2016, and progressively replaced this Act over the next three years.
