Kangaroo or No Kangaroo?

Country of origin information required on pack for priority foods consists of a text statement, a bar chart and, depending on whether or not the product underwent its last substantial transformation in Australia, a kangaroo logo. A kangaroo logo is required for a product which is grown, produced or made in Australia. This document is applicable only for products which are deemed as priority foods. However, non-priority foods may voluntarily choose to treat their products as priority foods.
