Is my product exempt from Country of Origin Labelling?

In accordance with the Country of Origin Labelling Information Standard 2016 (the Information Standard), Part 2, Division, 1(15), as a general rule, all packaged foods and certain unpackaged foods have to be accompanied with a country of origin declaration, either on the label or in connection with the display of the product. However, some exemptions to this rule are listed in the Information Standard. Note that the Information Standard applies for food that is sold in Australia only. It does not apply to food sold outside Australia.
