Commerce Commission v Honey New Zealand (International) Ltd [2011] (NZ)
In September 2009, the Commerce Commission laid three informations under the Fair Trading Act 1986 against Honey New Zealand. In March 2010 Honey New Zealand pleaded guilty to two charged under 13(j) of the Fair Trading Act, namely that they has made false and/or misleading misrepresentations concerning the place of origin of goods. This matter concerns the sentencing proceedings for these charges.
