On 6 December 2021, FSANZ sought submissions on a draft variation and published an associated report. FSANZ received 8 submissions. FSANZ approved the draft variation on 27 April 2022. The Food Ministers’ Meeting (formerly the Australia and New Zealand Ministerial Forum on Food Regulation) was notified of FSANZ’s decision on 6 May 2022.
