Application A1178 - AOAC 2017.16 as a new method of analysis for total dietary fibre (Approval Report)
Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) has assessed an application made by the Grains and Legumes Nutrition Council to permit the use of AOAC 2017.16 as a new method of analysis for total dietary fibre. On 21 May 2021, FSANZ sought submissions on a draft variation and published an associated report. FSANZ received ten submissions and one late submission. FSANZ approved the draft variation on 27 October 2021. The Food Ministers’ Meeting was notified of FSANZ’s decision on 8 November 2021.
