Application A1175 - Rapeseed protein isolate as a novel food (Approval Report)

Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) has assessed an application made by DSM Nutritional Products Asia Pacific to permit the use of rapeseed protein isolate as a novel food. On 31 July 2020, FSANZ sought submissions on a draft variation and published an associated report. FSANZ received 12 submissions. FSANZ approved the draft variation on 1 December 2020. The Australia and New Zealand Ministerial Forum on Food Regulation was notified of FSANZ’s decision on 15 December 2020.
