Application A1159 - Triacylglycerol lipase from Trichoderma reesai as a processing aid (enzyme) - Approval Report

Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) has assessed an application made by DuPont Australia Pty Ltd to permit the use of the enzyme triacylglycerol lipase from a genetically modified strain of Trichoderma reesei as a processing aid for the production of bakery products, and cereal-based beverages and foods. On 5 February 2019, FSANZ sought submissions on a draft variation and published an associated report. FSANZ received four submissions. FSANZ approved the draft variation on 12 June 2019 The Australia and New Zealand Ministerial Forum on Food Regulation was notified of FSANZ’s decision on 20 June 2019.
