ACCC v Arnotts Biscuits Limited [2008]
The Federal Court held that the packaging of Arnott's biscuits in their Snack Right range breached the Trade Practices Act 1974. The labelling falsely conveyed to consumers an overall impression that the filling in the biscuits consisted predominantly of the fruits referred to in the name of the product when this was not the case.
