How will food businesses and consumers be affected by New Zealand’s proposed Country of Origin laws?

The New Zealand Primary Production Committee has conducted a further round of industry consultation on proposed laws to introduce Country of Origin Labelling requirements for food products in New Zealand. The consultation follows major changes which have reduced the scope of the proposed law, as well as the way in which it is to come into force.
