Mandatory notification of foods with anaphylactic reactions, the new Victorian Health and Child Wellbeing Legislation Amendment Bill 2017
Under current law, there are mandatory reporting obligations for food companies in the event of death or serious injury or illness. Proposed laws in Victoria will introduce a separate mandatory reporting obligation in some circumstances for allergic reactions to food. This article examines and explains the proposed new law.
